Looking for a typical Provencal house in the heart of the Luberon? You will love The Domaine Les Petites Vaines, an old 18th century stone farmhouse entirely renovated in a boho style.
The +: the warmth and friendliness of a family home where you feel “at home”.
Domaine Les Petites Vaines is located in an unknown village of Luberon: Goult. But so pretty and to discover absolutely! The alleys and the old mill are adorable and remain much more un-spoilt than other villages in the region, even in high season. Everything is there: the small village cafe, the butcher, the bakery, the cheese factory, the small grocery store, restaurants and even the antique shop…
THE SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool (14 m x 4) is ideally located on the edge of the pine forest and on a promontory with a view of Mont Ventoux and the Luberon hills. With its stone edge and dark gray color, it fits perfectly into the landscape.
You can relax in the shade of a century old olive tree, feet in water, from 9 am to 8 pm. Sunbathing and deckchairs are at your disposal.
The pool is accessible to the three cottages and to share with us and our children (9 years old, 6 years old and 3 years old). Bath towels are not-included.
Warning: the pool (unheated) is not supervised, so children must be under the responsibility of their parents.
When Emmanuelle and Quentin visited the estate for the first time, they had an instant crush for the 2 hectare garden. The site is exceptional: quiet, surrounded by nature, the park is planted with southern species: maritime pines, olive trees, oaks, and fruit trees: figs, cherry, pear, apple, quince, pomegranate, persimmon …
All surrounded by a magnificent forest, classified Natura 2000 -pairs of Bonelli’s eagles nest there – and cliffs of ocher.
In the garden you can also pet the two english sheep: Arthur and Martin!
The vegetable garden
Guests can enjoy the vegetable garden, organic farming, located right next to their private terraces.
Depending on the season, they can pick tomatoes, lettuce, eggplant, zucchini or raspberries. A real return to the land.
The Domaine Les Petites Vaines was bought two years ago by Emmanuelle and Quentin, a couple looking for another life … A healthier one, sweet and preserved … but especially with more nature and sun!
With their three children, they left Lyon and their respective jobs – journalist for Emmanuelle – to settle in the Luberon. While visiting the place, the idea sprouted to create cottages: the space and the configuration of the house were ideal.
After two years of renovation, and a daily involvement of the owners (painting, floors, decoration), the Domain was finally opened in October 2018. Emmanuelle and Quentin have imagined the Domaine Les Petites Vaines as a family, warm and stylish place, in the heart of an exceptional natural site, certified Natura 2000.
